My top favourite Shabu shabu in Osaka!!If you read Chinese, the menu means ' Sakura Pork' . This is my favourite shabu shabu shop'Toritontei" in Osaka. I have been to a few shabu shabu shops, but this one has the best pork shabu shabu. The manager told me the pork is from Kagoshima ( another prefecture in Japan).
It tastes really good, it has special nice taste. Special pork from a special pig which is only feed with 7 types of healthy food ( some grain , corn, etc)
Normally I will go once a week to this shop. They serve another type of food is Chicken Nabe ( special chicken from Nara) but I still prefer pork shabu shabu.The shop has another special dessert - 'Shio ice'
Shio means salt in Japanese. Can you imagine a salty ice cream ?? I refused to try when the manager explained to me that they have shio ice. But I tried it on my second visit, special taste also, the ice cream imported from France.

His name is Nomura, the chef in this restaurant. He likes to speak English so he will talk to me, sometimes we cannot communicate, we will write on paper. Very funny guy, he studied Law but work as cook. His girl friend also work in the same restaurant and he introduced as ' my wife'.
