Tofu Shop

I had lunch and dinner in a 'tofu ' restaurant, specilised
in tofu dishes. From appetisers till desserts, they are all tofu dish.
Let me introduce to you some of the dishes I had :

Soy milk layer cake - nothing too special

Bake tofu with egg

Tofu appertiser - cost 1000 yen for 4 small pieces of tofu with sweet and salty taste

Duck hot pot

In Japan, hot pot is called 'NABE' . I had duck nabe in the same shop in AVANZA. It has the chinese character of duck in the menu, so I know I am ordering a duck dish . This is one of my favourite dish , something I will feel like to repeat , I had it twice so far, very very nice taste of the soup.

Japanese Tau Yiu Bak

Japanese Tau Yiu Bak ??

I had dinner in a restaurant near the office, in a building calledl "AVANZA "
I dind't know that I ordered is something like this ....... turn out to be Tau Yiu Bak... quite similar to our chinese tau yii bak, may be a little sweeter and with a half boiled egg in it. But it is good , give me some taste of chinese food !

Blueberry from Japan !!!

Burberry Blue Label is only sold in Japan. It is much cheaper than the Burberry London (black label) and it is with younger design . I got myself one , my souvenir from Japan. I love to collect handbags. This is my new collection from Japan. Got a burberry black label in London and a Coach from US last year. So this year, I got a blue design blue label and bought a similar one for my cousin as she wanted the red/pink design .

I saw burberry umbrella , it costs around 350-400 Rm !! . Here I do see people on the road using burberry umbrella, YSL umbrella.

Nara 's famous delicacy

Jap friend, Miki 's home town is in Nara, she introduced this Kamameshi dish to me before I went sight seeing in Nara.Kamameshi is rice steamed in iron pot with vege/ seafood/ chicken on top. It has some special taste and as you eat , the taste changes because those rice at the edge of the pot will be burnt , so it has a different taste.

A famous shop and usually you need to queue for sometimes before you get a seat. After ordering, it takes about 30 minute to cook the dish so you got to wait a little while before you get the food served.

New hobby - Enjoying Japanese Hot bath

A colleague in Tokyo office gave 2 packets of Japan bath salt to me as a gift. Understand from her that Japanese enjoy hot bath so she wanted to introduce the bath salt to me.

One is milk fragrance , one is Sakura fragrance. It was wonderful !!!!! I love hot bath now !!

I bought 8 packets in 'Loft' ( daily goods supermarket) in Namba. Below is my first batch of collection !

I got beauty bath( voted as top beauty bath salt) , Tofu bath salf, different types of milk bath, onsen(hot spring) bath , and rose bubble bath.
After 1 month, I went to stock up again !! This time I focus on Onsen bath( hot spring fragrance) It gives me very relax feeling !!!

Besides the onsen frangrance, I got a green tea fragrance also. Out of curiousity, I bought 2 packets of diet bath !! One of it has very interesting picture, 20 min of hot bath= 2 hours of exercising ! Let me try it then I will share with you ! haha
A special thanks to Hasegawa san who has given me the bath salt as a present !! Now I got this new hobby !!!! Just love it !
